SRINAGAR: Two fugitives, who’ve been evading arrest for over three many years, had been apprehended in north Kashmir’s Baramulla on Saturday, officers mentioned.
A police spokesperson in a press release mentioned, “Police Station Tangmarg arrested one of many absconders, Nazir Ahmad Ahanger, son of Ali Mohammad, a resident of Wahipora Tangmarg. Ahanger was concerned in a case filed beneath FIR No. 58/1989 at PS Tangmarg.”
“Equally, one other absconder, Mohammad Ashraf Laya, son of Gh Rasool and a resident of Jamia Mohalla Baramulla, was arrested by a police group from Police Station Baramulla. Laya was concerned in a case registered beneath FIR No. 99/1999 at PS Baramulla,” police mentioned.
“Warrant of arrest was issued by the Hon’ble Courtroom of Baramulla & Sub Choose JMIC Tangmarg towards them respectively. They had been evading their arrests since 1989 &1999 respectively. Each had been produced earlier than the Hon’ble Courtroom of Baramulla & JMIC Tangmarg,” reads the assertion.
