SRINAGAR: Bandipora Police on Thursday seized two automobiles concerned in a militancy-related case, officers stated.
Quoting an official, Kashmir Scroll reported {that a} Maruti Swift with registration quantity JK15B-0457 and a Maruti Eco with registration quantity JK15A-1528, had been taken into custody below the UA(P) Act, as they had been thought-about “proceeds of terrorism.”
The officer stated that the seized automobiles had been owned by Javid Iqbal Khan, son of Gulzar Ahmad Khan, residing in Nusoo Bandipora, and Maqsood Ahmad Malik, son of Mohmad Jamal Malik, residing in Chittibandy Aragam.
“This seizure is a serious blow to the actions of these concerned in terrorism within the area,” he stated.
He added a case FIR No. 15/2022 U/s of UA(P) & I.A Act of PS Aragam stands registered at PS Aragam and additional investigations taken up. (KS)
