Dense fog continues to envelop Kashmir, Ganderbal coldest at Minus 6.7°C

Dense fog continued to blanket most elements of the Kashmir Valley on Friday whereas three locations together with Ganderbal has recorded the coldest night time of the season because the night time chill has additional intensified throughout the area.

In accordance with the information company—Kashmir Information Observer (KNO), the mercury continued to settle beneath freezing level throughout the Valley at present whereas Ganderbal, Budgam in Central Kashmir and Bandipora in north Kashmir recorded the coldest night time of the season at minus 6.7 diploma Celsius.

Pahalgam in South Kashmir recorded a low of minus 5.4 diploma Celsius.

Srinagar, the summer season capital of Jammu & Kashmir shivered at minus 3.3 diploma Celsius whereas Qazigund in South Kashmir has recorded a low of minus 4.2 diploma Celsius.

Gulmarg, a well-known ski-resort, has recorded a low of minus 2.5 diploma Celsius.

Kupwara in north Kashmir has recorded a low of minus 4.0 diploma Celsius whereas Kokernag recorded a minimal temperature of minus 2.6 diploma Celsius—(KNO)
