Named Shariq Yasir Moderately, son of Qari Mohammed Yasir, a resident of Gopalpora in Kulgam, the 14-year-old is ready to hitch the Bangalore Strikers securing a hefty sum of Rs 3.20 lakhs within the public sale.

Set to begin from March 6-15, 2024, the ISPL incorporates a dynamic T10 format, utilizing tennis balls, with the goal of discovering and selling budding cricketing expertise throughout six competing groups.

Sharik, a Ninth-grade scholar hailing from Gopalpora village in Kulgam, showcased his abilities as a wicketkeeper-batsman, impressing the selectors throughout trials and finally fetching a notable bid from the ‘Bangalore Strikers,’ owned by Bollywood icon Hrithik Roshan.

“I’m thrilled to have been picked up by the Bangalore Strikers for Rs 3.20 lakhs, marking a milestone because the youngest participant within the league,” he remarked.
