Friday prayers not allowed at Srinagar’s Jamia Masjid, Anjuman says

Srinagar’s Jamia Masjid has been locked down by the authorities on Friday forward of the Jummat ul Wida prayers, Anjuman Auqaf commitee Jamia Masjid stated.

In an announcement, the committee stated that the grand mosque was locked up by the authorities and it was additionally knowledgeable that the prayers won’t be allowed on the historic mosque.

In the meantime, Mirwaiz e Kashmir, Molvi Mohammad Umar Farooq has been positioned beneath home arrest, as per the committee.
