
A minimum of three employees are reported to have been washed away in Jhelum river throughout a demolition work on an outdated bridge at Uri in Baramulla district.
Locals informed GNS that a number of employees had been engaged in demolition work on an outdated bridge in Mohura Uri and throughout the time the trio is believed to have fallen into the Jhelum river.
“The apprehension of them having fallen into the river (Jhelum) have grown as some individuals are claiming to have seen them falling into the river flowing in proximity to the positioning of the ‘accident’,” an area stated.
When contacted, a police official informed GNS they’re assessing the state of affairs. “Nothing might be stated with a lot certainty in the meanwhile,” the police official stated. (GNS)
