Kashmir shivers as mercury settles under freezing level

The mercury continued to settle under freezing level in Kashmir area on Friday whereas the weatherman has predicted dry climate until December 31.

Qazigund and Pahalgam in South Kashmir recorded a low of minus 3.0 diploma Celsius and 4.8 diploma Celsius respectively.

Srinagar, the summer season capital of Jammu and Kashmir recorded a low of minus 3.3 diploma Celsius.

Gulmarg, a well-known ski-resort has recorded a low of minus 1.0 diploma Celsius.

In Kupwara, the mercury settled at minus 3.4 diploma Celsius whereas Kokernag recorded a low of minus 2.4 diploma Celsius—(KNO)
