Tragedy struck a quiet village in Budgam district of central Kashmir as a 6-year-old lady was snatched from her house by a leopard on Thursday night.
Based on sources talking to information company—Kashmir Information Observer (KNO), the sufferer, recognized as Toiba Mushtaq, daughter of Mushtaq Ahmad Khan, was taken from the lawns of her residence within the Hariwani space.
Officers from the wildlife division instantly sprang into motion upon receiving the distressing information.
They initiated an enormous operation aimed toward capturing the elusive predator. Cages have been strategically positioned in neighboring villages, as authorities labored tirelessly to rescue the younger lady.
This incident comes on the heels of a latest spate of assaults by leopards within the area. Simply 17 days prior, a 9-year-old lady met a tragic destiny, mauled to dying by a leopard within the close by village of Samsan.
One other minor boy was additionally injured in a separate assault—(KNO)
