In Jammu Kashmir, Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha chaired a high-level assembly yesterday to assessment the preparedness of involved departments and businesses for upcoming Eid, Navratras and Baisakhi festivals.
LG directed the DCs and SSPs to go to the outstanding holy locations and take each attainable measure to make sure easy conduct of the festivals.
He stated, all of the preparations have to be put in place as per the ECI pointers.
The LG directed for enough safety preparations, Visitors & Crowd administration; identification of parking spots; availability of important gadgets on notified charges, structure of groups for normal market inspection, un-interrupted water and energy provide, medical amenities, hearth and emergency companies and preparations for sanitation and cleanliness.
The assembly was attended by Chief Secretary Atal Dulloo, DGP RR Swain, ADGP Vijay Kumar, ADGP, Armed, Regulation & Order, Anand Jain, ADGP Jammu; Administrative Secretaries; Divisional Commissioners; Deputy Commissioners and senior officers of Civil and Police administration.
