4 individuals, together with three minor kids died when a landslide hit their Kacha home in Chassana belt of Reasi district in Jammu division, an official mentioned on Sunday.
An official informed information company—Kashmir Information Observer (KNO) that household of 4 was buried alive as an enormous landslide hit their Kacha home in Kunderdhan Chassana as a result of incessant rainfall. He mentioned victims had been asleep when a landslide occurred throughout the Sunday evening.
“Mom and her three kids died of the landslide, two others suffered accidents.” official mentioned.
“Phalla Akther, spouse of Mohd Farid, aged about 30 years, Nasima Akther, daughter of Mohd Farid, aged 5 years, Safeen Kousar, daughter of Mohd Farid, aged 3 years, and Samreen Kousar, daughter of Mohd Farid, aged 2 months, died on the spot. Two individuals, specifically Kalu, son of Juma, aged about 60 years, and Bano Begum, spouse of Kalu, aged about 58 years, received injured.”
