
Hindu Raksha Dal members on Tuesday staged a protest outdoors Delhi Police headquarters over the suspension of a sub-inspector who allegedly kicked a couple of individuals providing ‘namaz’ on a highway in Inderlok space.
A number of members of the right-wing outfit chanted ‘Hanuman Chalisa’ and ‘Jai Shree Ram’ through the protest.
Sub-inspector Manoj Kumar Tomar shoved and kicked a couple of individuals providing namaz on a highway in north Delhi’s Inderlok on March 8, resulting in a protest by a whole bunch of locals towards the pressure, and suspension of the accused with fast impact.
“If they’ve rights to supply namaz on roads, now we have rights too to chant Hanuman Chalisa on the roads as effectively. Our predominant demand is to convey the sub-inspector again on obligation and to cancel his suspension orders,” a Hindu Raksha Dal chief instructed PTI.
Police together with paramilitary forces have been deployed to take care of regulation and order scenario.
Delhi Police has closed the route resulting in the police headquarters for the protesters by barricading the highway.
A video surfaced on social media the place Tomar is seen making an attempt to disperse a couple of males praying on the highway close to a mosque and in what looks like a sudden burst of rage, he begins shoving and kicking a few of them. PTI
