Search operation launched in Poonch-Rajouri to hint militant hideouts

On Wednesday, a joint operation involving the military, BSF, and police was carried out in villages alongside the Line of Management (LoC) in Rajouri and Poonch districts, in addition to alongside the worldwide border in Samba district, The Tribune reported.

The operation was launched find any potential hideouts or tunnels that militants may use for infiltration.

The initiative comes within the aftermath of a latest ambush on two Military automobiles in Poonch by a bunch of militants, as reported by The Tribune.
