Shot in October at Eid Gah Srinagar, Jammu Kashmir Police inspector succumbs

Police Inspector Masroor Ahmad Wani, who was hospitalised after being critically shot by militants in October month, has succumbed to his accidents at AIIMS New Delhi.

A high Police officer instructed information company Kashmir Scroll that Wani has succumbed to his accidents a while in the past.

The injured police inspector, the officer stated, was shifted from Paras Hospital Srinagar to New Delhi in an Air Ambulance on Wednesday.

Wani was critically injured after militants fired at him within the Eidgah space of Srinagar within the final week of October this 12 months.

The incident occurred when Masroor Ahmad was enjoying cricket with native boys at Eidgah close to a Masjid. (KS)
