Srinagar: An earthquake of magnitude 5.5 hit Ladakh area, whereas tremors have been felt throughout Jammu and Kashmir on Monday, officers stated right here.
An official of Meteorological division stated that the earthquake occurred at 03:48 PM and its origin was in Kargil.
