Div Com Opinions Progress On Eradicating Bottlenecks From Main Roads – Kashmir Reader

Asks R&B To Determine Buildings For Acquisition

Srinagar, December 13: The Divisional Commissioner (Div Com) Kashmir, Vijay Kumar Bidhuri immediately chaired a gathering of PW R&B to evaluation progress of eradicating bottlenecks from main roads in North Circle, Srinagar by land acquisition and dismantling of constructions.
The assembly was attended by ADC, Srinagar, SE PW R&B, Collector PW R&B, Government Engineer, Tehsildar and different officers.
The Div Com reviewed the bodily standing of Syed Mirak Shah Highway, Khanyar Zadibal Pandach (KZP) Highway and Round Highway Challenge.
Relating to Syed Mirak Shah Highway, it was knowledgeable that out of 332 constructions 179 have been acquired and settled, and out of 145 Kanals of land 28.77 have been acquired. Additionally, out of 750 outlets 302 instances have been settled.
Equally concerning KZP Highway, it was provided that out of 368 instances of constructions 102 have been settled. And out of 118.19 Kanals of land the instances of 19.50 have been settled whereas out of 750 outlets 144 have been acquired.
Additionally, concerning Round Highway, it was said that out of 1238 instances of constructions 802 have been settled and out of 242.5 Kanals, 150 have been acquired in addition to out of 824 outlets the instances of 339 have been settled.
Addressing the officers, Div Com directed the involved to make sure huge open roads within the metropolis by eradicating the constructions at bottlenecks.
He instructed the involved to determine the constructions that are essentially to be eliminated to widen the roads and submit the report inside seven days.
Div Com instructed to handover the outlets being constructed at Rainawari to the relocated shopkeepers on the earliest.
He additionally handed instructions to NPCC for repairing the boundary wall at LD hospital.
