Jammu- Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Wednesday mentioned his administration is working to make sure an inclusive and equitable society so that every one get pleasure from the advantages of nationwide growth.
The lieutenant governor was interacting with a 20-member delegation of the Padari tribe, who known as on him on the Raj Bhawan right here this morning, an official spokesman mentioned.
“Our effort is to create an inclusive and equitable society, empower the marginalised and guarantee they get pleasure from the advantages of nationwide growth,” Sinha mentioned.
The lieutenant governor mentioned Prime Minister Narendra Modi is dedicated to inclusive growth of each part of the society with the mantra of ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas’.
The delegation led by BJP chief and former minister Sunil Sharma expressed gratitude to Prime Minister Modi, Union Residence Minister Amit Shah and the lieutenant governor-led led administration for Scheduled Tribe standing to the Padari tribe.
The members of the delegation mentioned the historic determination has paved method for the socio-economic empowerment of the group and it’ll create an enabling setting for the tribe to contribute to the event of Jammu and Kashmir and the nation.
The BJP-led Central authorities lately added 4 extra communities — Gadda Brahmin, Koli, Padari tribe and Pahari ethnic group — to the listing of Scheduled Tribes (STs) in Jammu and Kashmir.
On February 12, a separate Pahari group and Different Backward Class (OBC) delegations met the lieutenant governor on the Raj Bhawan and expressed their gratitude to Prime Minister Modi for empowering them.
