SRINAGAR: In an uncommon incident in Srinagar, a lady mistakenly handed over a gold coin as a substitute of bus fare to the conductor whereas travelling from GB Pant to Radio Kashmir Gate on Thursday, 18 Jan.
Waheeda, a resident of Batmaloo, mentioned that she supposed to promote the coin to cowl the medical bills of her brother-in-law. “I boarded a Mazda bus round 10:30 within the morning close to GB Pant Hospital, Sonawar, and bought down close to Radio Kashmir Gate. I went to the jeweller and realised that I’ve one coin much less in my purse.”
Waheeda quickly understood that she had given gold coin to the conductor as a substitute of a 10-rupee coin. “This coin belonged to my sister, and he or she wanted money in trade for the remedy of her husband, who’s admitted at AIIMS Delhi,” Waheeda mentioned.
